I was thrilled to be invited a guest of AAM, the American Alliance of Museums Annual Meeting. I was taken on a behind-the-scenes curatorial tour of the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA for the exhibit “Where Art and Science Collide.”

The intriguing tour was led by Emilia Nicolson-Fajardo, Curatorial Assistant at MOCA.
The tour explored the exhibit OPEN by Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson and included a mesmerizing walk through visual representation of topics ranging from weather to math-inspired spaces including a Rhombic Dodecahedron. The exhibit was part of Pacific Standard Time and was filled with mesmerizing optical illusions. When art and science collide, it is magical!
